Muscle Dysmorphia

While most people are aware of eating disorders, many people are not familiar with muscle dysmorphia. This disorder is essentially the opposite of an eating disorder. Instead of never feeling thin enough, those who suffer with it never see themselves as big enough. Like eating disorders, muscle dysmorphia can have many of the same psychological issues and can be very destructive to every aspect of one's health and wellness. Recently, I did an interview on muscle dysmorphia with Lauren Bersaglio. Lauren runs a fantastic site called Libero Network that is dedicated to providing encouragement and information for those suffering with eating disorders. If you or someone you know is struggling with eating disorders, I highly recommend visiting her site. Also, you can check out the full interview HERE to learn more about muscle dysmorphia, signs and symptoms to watch for in loved ones, harmful side effects and some encouragement for those suffering with it.
